For Erica

I love the way you roll your eyes
So playful with an elfish face
And I can see within you lies
Such love for which my heart shall race

And after all this time that's passed
I see how we can still be coy
A sign this love was meant to last
It fills my soul with perfect joy

And even when our hair is white
Our empty home, the kids long gone
I long to watch the sun's first light
With you at every passing dawn

There are no words that can convey
Just how you take my breath away
